Where other group programs say “not the right fit,” we say “we built this for you.” Purpose-designed centre-based activities for NDIS participants with autism, intellectual disability, and complex behaviours — backed by real SIL-level expertise.
Most group programs weren't built for participants with complex behaviours. Ours were. Every session, every space, and every staff member is designed around what your participant actually needs.
Your participant's Behaviour Support Plan isn't filed away — it's the blueprint for how we design their group experience. Every staff member knows each participant's individual strategies, triggers, and goals before they walk through the door.
Maximum 1:3 for complex behaviour groups. 1:1 available where plans require it. We're one of the only providers who'll tell you this before you call — because you shouldn't have to ask.
Purpose-designed spaces with low-stimulation zones, visual supports throughout, structured transition areas, and flexible sensory tools. Built for autistic and intellectually disabled participants, not adapted as an afterthought.
Our staff don't just run activities — they come from our SIL teams supporting participants with the most complex presentations. That depth of behaviour support experience is rare in group activity providers. It's our core.
You'll know how every session went — what worked, what was challenging, what progress was made. Including photos (with consent), incident notifications, and BSP implementation notes. No guessing.
Participants with complex needs rely on consistency. We assign dedicated support workers to each group — the same people who learn your participant's communication style, preferences, and what makes them feel safe.
Every program is built with evidence-based approaches for autistic participants and those with intellectual disability — structured, predictable, sensory-considered, and genuinely fun.
We don't offer one-size-fits-all group programs. Every participant is assessed individually. Their Behaviour Support Plan is reviewed with our team before their first session. Activities are adapted to their sensory profile, communication style, and NDIS goals.
We meet with you, your support coordinator, and your behaviour support practitioner. We review the participant's BSP, sensory profile, communication methods, triggers, and goals to understand exactly what they need.
We place participants in groups matched by support needs, communication ability, and interests — not just availability. Small groups (maximum 3 participants per staff member) ensure genuine engagement, not just supervision.
Every session follows a visual schedule with predictable transitions, sensory breaks, and choice-making opportunities. But our PBS-trained staff can adapt in the moment when a participant's needs change.
Daily session reports, fortnightly goal-tracking updates, and quarterly formal reviews with your support coordinator. You're never left wondering how things are going.
Whether you're a support coordinator making a referral, a family searching for the right fit, or a planner exploring options — here's what you need to know.
Streamlined referrals, transparent capabilities, zero surprises
We know you need providers who can actually deliver on complex presentations — not ones who accept the referral then call you two weeks later saying it's “not the right fit.” Our SIL background means we've worked with the behaviours most group providers won't touch. We implement BSPs as standard, report monthly on restrictive practices to the NDIS Commission, and we'll send you regular progress updates without being chased.
We understand what you've been through to get here
Finding group activities that truly understand your family member's complex needs is exhausting. You've probably been told “we can try, but...” or had providers accept your loved one only to call asking you to pick them up early. We specialise in what many providers avoid — supporting participants with complex behavioural needs, severe autism, and intellectual disability. This is not an add-on to our services; it is our core expertise. Your family member deserves a place where they belong.
Evidence-aligned, goal-focused, audit-ready
Our group activities directly map to NDIS outcome domains — social and community participation, daily living, relationships, and choice and control. We provide structured evidence of how group participation contributes to each participant's stated goals, making your plan reviews clearer and more efficient. Services are claimable under Core Supports Category 04, with transparent line item allocation.
Your activities, your choices, your goals
This is your time. Our group activities are about doing things you enjoy, learning new skills, and spending time with people who get you. You'll get to choose from different activities each week, and we'll make sure the environment feels comfortable for you. Our staff are here to support you — not to tell you what to do. You're always welcome to visit us first before deciding if you'd like to join.
Group activities are funded under Core Supports — meaning you can flexibly allocate funding from your Core budget. Here's a transparent breakdown of the relevant NDIS line items and what to expect.
We bring the same specialist complex behaviour expertise to both Melbourne and Hobart — one of the only providers offering this across both states.
Serving the greater Melbourne metropolitan area
Serving the greater Hobart and southern Tasmania region
We support participants whose behaviours of concern are often described as “complex” or “challenging” — this can include physical behaviours towards others or self, property damage, elopement, sensory-driven responses, and other presentations that require specialist-trained staff and individual behaviour support plans. These behaviours are a form of communication, and our approach is always to understand the function behind them.
Three things set us apart. First, our staff come from our SIL complex behaviour teams — they have real experience with the presentations most group providers can't manage. Second, we design every activity around each participant's BSP, not as a generic program everyone gets slotted into. Third, we publish our ratios upfront (1:3 maximum for complex needs) because transparency matters when you're trusting someone with your family member.
Group and centre-based activities are funded under Core Supports — specifically Category 04 (Assistance with Social, Economic and Community Participation). Core funding is flexible, so you can allocate it from your Core budget even if group activities aren't named specifically in your plan. If your plan includes High Intensity or Complex Behaviour support items, these attract higher hourly rates that reflect the additional expertise required.
Absolutely — we encourage it. We offer a welcome visit where the participant (and their family or support coordinator) can see the space, meet the staff, and get a feel for the environment before any decisions are made. For participants with high anxiety around new environments, we can arrange a quiet introductory visit outside normal program hours.
Our staff are trained in de-escalation, positive behaviour support, and the use of least restrictive interventions as required by the NDIS Commission. We follow the participant's BSP strategies and document all incidents. Families and support coordinators are notified on the same day. We never ask you to “come and pick them up” — managing complex behaviours is literally what we specialise in.
We offer activity-based transport for participants whose NDIS plans fund it. This is claimable at the current NDIS rate of $1.00 per kilometre. Speak with your support coordinator about including transport in your plan, or contact us directly to discuss options.
Whether you're a support coordinator with a complex referral, a family looking for the right fit, or a participant wanting to try something new — we'd love to hear from you.
